Here is a photo of what I'm making, my first pattern project that I'll actually complete and not give up on!
The fabric will work for the style I'm going for, and it was only $2 a yard so I figured if I messed up I wouldn't be out tons of money lol. Its supposed to be kind of a '50s style dress for cruising in a classic car... I don't know how historically accurate it is really but its very comfortable so it will work. Once I get more confident in my skills I'll work on making things in colors and prints that I'll really love! I'll keep you all updated on my projects and hopefully that will help to keep me motivated to finish more of them. ;)
Wow! Awesome job! I'm excited to see your creations. I'm so boring - I just make the same old skirt. I'll branch out eventually...

DeleteIt looks lovely! that dress is very flattering for you. It's not so difficult to sew if you choose a level of difficulty that you can manage. but it's always interesting to try new challanges. I have a rule that if I sew wrong, then I'm too tired to keep focus and have to take a rest (the ripper is my friend).
